this is a funny story.... the last time that I had an endura, i accidentally had it in my back pack @ school from a vacation that the family had taken. anywho, I took it from the pack and put it in my beltline of my pants where noone would notice, and I could take it home at lunch. however, when I went to use the bathroom, I took off my pants and without thinking, my endura got caught by my pinky and fell into the toilet.... and then the wait.... I sat there and stared at it for a minute or two, then it occured to me that it was my Endura that was at the bottomn of the sea, and i gained the curage to reach in and grab it..... eeeeyuuuuuuuk.
A tough decission, but I think you made the right choice ...... just <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
Is that a <img src="http://spyderco.com/forum/spyder.gif"border=0> in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me ?

Yuck!<img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> That would be the pits.
I once had something similar happen to me at home. Only my Calypso didn't actually go scuba diving. (Thank God!)<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I would have gone in after her, as I couldn't bear the thought of losing such a close companion.<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
Ya' did the right thing, man.

Ha! I have learned to always attach some kind of floating crap thing to a lanyard on my knives when around water deeper than a foot! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Then all I have to do in a situation like that is reach in and grab the lanyard with my Swiss-Tech MicroPlus! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I'm not sure that "floating crap thing" is the best descriptor in the context of the current conversation <img src="http://dburke.home.texas.net/pictures/puke.gif">

I got these lines in my face from trying to straighten out the wrinkles in my life
