Cool pictures! But aren't all Spydies capable of doing that out of the box? My Mili will do the same, no problems.

Of course all SPYDERCO knives come so sharp out of the box that it's no problem to cut in halfs falling paper sheet. However no one knife including Spydes does'n stay sharp forever. Particularly, my Military is near 10 years old and is continuously in use since it stays all the time in the rear pocket of my home jeans and works everywhere from kitchen through garden up to garage.
It's not the trick to buy sharp knife, just buy Spyde and you are at home. Somewhat more difficult is to keep it sharp during all it's life.

You are right there Sergiusz, sharpening can be quite difficult. The trick is in the polishing, at least for me.
