Spyderscrews?

#1

Post by Avg_Joe »

Hey guys, I have a little problem. I am wanting to sell my Chinook II to get a different Spydie but before I put it on Ebay, I need to replace one of the screws that holds on the pocket clip. My question is, where the heck can I get one of these? I would rather get one locally rather than directly from Spyderco because it will probably cost me more than I want to spend on these simple screws with shipping and everything. I checked Home Depot and Lowe's and the like with no luck. Does anyone have any ideas other than contacting Spyderco?

Try to find discarded computers, they often have screws which fit for pocket clips ;)

Hobby shops might be worth a try too, although I think if all you need is one screw, Spyderco would probably just send you one.

I might just have to give them a call. I happen to have an old broken computer lying around but none of the screws will work. I need to get this thing sold because I want a Caly3!!! Hate to let the Chinook go though.
