Here's a funny "Spydercut" story...

Last Thursday, as I met a friend for lunch I cut my middle fingertip on the right hand with my Wegner Jr. What's funny about this is that I did it closing the blade with one hand, as I held the large Wegner in my other hand after showing this guy both knives together; a "father and son" pair.

I was showing him that I was carrying the knives, and in particular the Jr. as he had been the one to buy me the Wegner Jr. some months ago from a neighboring city when I was unable to find one locally, and we had just now gotten together so that I could pay him for it. The knife had arrived before Christmas and so I had been using it all along.

This whole thing was especially funny to me because he thinks I'm a "Knife nut" for paying that much for a little pocketknife, and it was hilarious that I cut myself with the very knife he had procured for me while I showed it to him. I bled all through lunch at the restaurant, and had to keep getting the waiter to bring me more napkins to soak it up.

Cheers, Jeff/1911.

I have learned to carry a bandaid with me anytime I am planning to go anywhere that sells knives.Put it in your wallet at least you can get it out before the cash.

**Falling back in utter terror from the Huge Spyder** <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Kahz,

Yup, I guess I'll only get this one chance to "razz" you, so I thought I'd better take advantage of it! Heh heh!<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> How is the wound doing? I hope it is recovering nicely. Don't let the Lum get too much of that red stuff!<img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

My brother, ( A Buck knife fan ), cut himself on my "Q" Saturday night when he accidently sliced the tip of his left middle finger. It is still bleeding today! He told me that, "I was wrong about those Spyderco's. They are SHARP!" I think we might have another Spydernut in the making.<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Take care, O Noble Kahz!

Dear Kahz :

I had my C 29BK "Cricket" nip me in the
left ring fingertip during careless
sharpening ( see : Ouch ! that Spydie bites
posting AET ). Luckily, being a clean cut,
it healed right away, with no visible
scaring.

All hail <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> 's ; switchblades BAD, Spydies
GOOD !

Well,

It's certainly good to know that so many Spyderfolks share "battle wounds". <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

A small piece of flesh fell off my finger today, and it's on its way to regeneration. I think I will carry a band-aid from now on... good advice! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Kahz the giant Spyder bounces away to study for YET another test...

I love <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> and rock and roll!

Hi Kahz,

Sounds like it's healing now. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Wonderful. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

SpyderNut,

You did WHAT? With a Skilsaw? Is that why they called it a SKIL saw? Sorry. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Jaxon,
*Looking sheepish*

I was working on a closet with a 18 volt DeWalt skil saw, ( "Skill" saw, LOL! ) when I accidently got my left ring finger too close to the "working end" of the blade. OUCH! It took a full second for me to realize that I had just shaved some flesh from my own finger.....Geez! What a dumb thing to do.<img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I had no one to blame but myself.
Ah well. "Live and learn", is my motto! <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Take care, bro!

Ah, the SpyderWounds are flowing fast and furious now, aren't they? <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I haven't managed to do serious damage with a Spyder, just your usual array of nicks, cuts, and small slashes.

Now other knives, that's a different story. I was trying to remember if I have a single scar from a sharp knife, and the answer is no. Sharp things may bite, but they heal great! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Kahz,

I'm really sorry about this, especially since it is obviously all my fault (just like everything else)<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>.

LOL at Kahz and Clay! <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

You know what? I forgot to blame someone for my purchasing a Mouse.

*Looks for someone to blame*

Ah ha! So it was YOU Kahz! Now I know who to blame.....heh heh!<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

BTW, how's the wound doing?

Stay safe!<img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Kahz,
Sorry to hear about your wound
Got my first Chinese Folder last week(green)
So impressed with it, ordered & received the Tanto Folder today(Shipper sent a reusable dispenser of bandaids attatched to the knife box)
Glad to hear your wound is healing

Yes, <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>nut, we both must blame Kahz for El Ratón fever! The <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>virus just keeps growing, and I've decided to stop fighting and let it go. Now if only I had an extra $75 to feed my Mouse cravings, I'd be all set.

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Yup. Kahz is definitely the one to blame for my <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>Mouse purchase! It's all <b>her </b> fault. <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>.

Then again, I always did want to say, "Yes, that IS a mouse in my pocket and I am happy to see you!" <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

*looking innocent*

I do not know what you guys are talking about...

*evil grin*

So, the Mouse hits again???? <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> GET THE MOUSE, EVERYONE, GET THE MOUSE!!!! THE MOUSE ROCKS!!!! <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> (Lsaulog, you are past due with that review, my dear...) <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

My wound doing much better. Still visible, it hurts only a bit, and no blood is visible anymore, so I assume that's good. No more ketchup! LOL!
