More Spyderco fakes on eBay
Pathetic knockoff of Spyderco--but its the one with Warren Thomas on the blade, etc. I sent a note to the seller telling him/her--but they know:

I actually already reported that to eBay..TazKristi wrote:Thanks for the heads-up Qboy! We're on it.
Kristi
It pisses me off allot to see fakes on ebay. Especially when they market the fakes as true-blue spydies. Glad to know you guys will be reporting them.
Thanks Taz

As far as I am concerned, the $9 bid on that POS is 100x too much. :mad:Piercieve wrote:Heheh I still kind of want it. :o
I just want a Kerambit.

Fury is a brand that makes fake Spydercos too. I was at the local Military Surplus today and saw a copy of what I believed was supposed to be a Navigator. Reminded me of the Meerkat also. It had a Linerlock and wood inlays on the handle. The generic Spydie hole was Hex shaped. I'll have to try and sneak a pic of it. :p
FYI. It was selling for $7.95 plus tax.

Yo is this is a rip off as well? The blade has a different shape, but perhaps it is a version I have never seen.

Yes, but it can only be done by the party whose patent, trademark, or copyright is being violated, in this case Spyderco. Kristi's aware of this auction, so I'd imagine she, Peter (their legal guy), or someone else there, has done so.Kiwi Commander wrote:This guy is a jerk. Is there anything more effective than single item reporting? I don't know how he gets his positive feedback....
