Kopa in hand?

#1

Post by Doc Pyres »

I was wondering if some Kopa owners could do me a big favor. I'm very interested in getting a Kopa (or five:rolleyes :) but my local knife guy doesn't have one I can touch in the flesh, and so far I've been unable to find any pics of someone holding one. Could someone post a few pics of one in hand and I can get a better idea of how the knife might fit my hand.

Cheers,
Chris

It'll fit just fine :D

I think I might have a Kopa or 20 :p It's nearly midnight here now, but I think I can manage some crappy shots. Hold a minute and I'll see what I can do.

You shouldn't have any problems with the fit, my hands are pretty large, and its a good fit for me.

Sorry Dan, Looks like I beat you to it ;)

Size comparison is with a Delica 4 black FRN PE.
I love Kopas :D :p Here's an older shot. Added a few more since then ;)

I love that last shot of yours Dan. I hope the wife doesn't find out how much Kopas cost though :D

Word of warning ! Kopas are almost as addictive as Kiwis :D And they cost a bomb ! Once you pop you can't stop :)

Daniel, telemeister, a big thank you to both of you. The pics are perfect and exactly what I needed. Now that I see it in the hand, I think you're both right - the Kopa will fit me fine.

Wow, Daniel, nice collection!

No problems Doc :)

Happy to help a potential Kopa Knut ;) I warn you again though...there are only a handful of Kopa Krazies in this forum. It is a dangerous path you follow should you take it. Small knife, I liken it to man jewellery :p

Glad Telemeister and I could help. And if you think my collection is large.... you obviously haven't seen some of the others :D

But your Kopa collection is certainly impressive!

They are really nice knives. I'm thinking of getting a stacked wood one.

That's much smaller than I thought it was. I suppose I didn't pay enough attention to that.

Brainus,

They are indeed quite small and fall into the category of pocket knife quite literally. The only other one which falls in this category (for me) is the Kiwi which is the ultimate Spyderco gents knife and a truer pocket knife due to it not having a clip.

I think Paul (The Deacon) has a few great comparison shots of the Kiwi and Kopa next to other blades if you want size comparos. I have yet to grab a Kiwi for fear I may venture down the path which I have taken with my Kopas :D
