Will the Spyderco/Perrin become a reality? If so, any idea when?

Hi, Paul--

The FB04 Perrin Fixed-Blade has been in production just a few months. Check w/your favorite dealer to see when he or she will get some in, or contact our Spyderco Factory Outlet Store to see if they'll send you one. They can be contacted through this website or by calling 1 800 828-1925.

Good luck in your quest!

Oh, THAT one. . .

I, too, was interested in that one. Haven't been able to find out anything about it recently. Carlos, the moderator of the Spyderco Gen. Info. Forum seems to be kept up-to-date, though. If you haven't already, it might be worthwhile to either post this same question on that forum or email him directly if his address is provided in his forum profile.

Just so you know--I believe they're calling it the S.P.O.T., for "Self-Protection Option Tool".

Wish I coulda helped,
Vince

Paul,

I believe Sal (or Carlos) said there would be two versions, one with a skeleton handle and AUS-6 steel and one with thin micarta scales and VG-10. I know which one I want <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>.
