My first one was an SS SE Police in '97, but the one that really got me hooked was the PE Military which I think I got in 2000.

For me it was the C05PE - Economy/Standard Stainless with the clip pressed out of the side... (No Screws) Got it at the Stock Show in Denver back in the very early 80's.. Spyderco had a booth setup there and I was sold... Been a sickness ever since... And yes I still have her....

I don't remember for sure. I bought two within days of each other for $25 each. They were the Gray Caly jr. and a stainless delica.

Those were some nice prices.

One of the first, I think. A Clipit Endura, with the molded-in clip, full serrated blade. I still have it, still use it.

My Dear Friends,

My very first Spyderco was a stainless Harpy SE; it inspired my forum name, and is still far and away my favorite Spyderco knife.

Dragonfly SS SE ... after seeing my brother's Harpy SE and liking the hole. My brother picked it up because of the Hannibal book/movie. His harpy was starting to get a bit beat up and he realized a hawkbill wasn't as useful a blade shape for what he did, so I bought him a Lava this past xmas (his bday is also 12/25, so I figured it made up for years of getting shafted on presents).

I lost my original dragonfly in a move two years ago (well, maybe it's still in a box somewhere, but I've given up)... I got a "replacement" in the form of a custom G-10 dragonfly from tricod that I'm quite happy with, though.

My very first Spyderco was a plain edge Scorpius with the Dolphin Eye lanyard hole.

It was an "ok" knife but I just couldn't get used to the handle. :)

My first was a ZDP Endura (plain edge). Later, I sent it off for a Krein flat grind.
