urban uk byrd?
urban uk byrd?
i've been wondering, as i sit here debating spending $100 difficult-to-come-by dollars on an orange UKPK... is there going to be a byrd equivalent of the UKPK / Urban concept?
i'd think... eventually?
and what about a byrd take on the manix? overbuilt superbyrd? G10 flight and catbyrd are great, but... :D

I understand your dilemna, but I really do think the UKPK is worth the money - it is an excellent knife.

Clovisc, I was thinking the same question - I think byrd line should have a slippie too. :) Would allow you to buy a cheap quality made slippie you can travel with and replace easily if lost or stolen /or confiscated by a furious cop who thinks its a threatening weapon.. /

I don't think that clovisc is asserting that it isn't. I'm sure a Sebenza is worth the money, but I'm not going to buy one. He's just asking for a certain kind of knife in a lower price bracket.telemeister wrote:I understand your dilemna, but I really do think the UKPK is worth the money - it is an excellent knife.
well, i'm just wondering if the slippit concept is going be converted into the world of byrd... :D also curious if the manix concept might one day undergo a similar evolution... :)jag-engr wrote:I don't think that clovisc is asserting that it isn't. Sorry, I thought he was debating spending his money on a UKPK, and was just reassuring that it is a very good knife.jag-engr wrote:I don't think that clovisc is asserting that it isn't. i must say I'm kinda shocked to see carbonfiber scales on a byrd  .... not that there's anything wrong with it ...Mr Blonde wrote:The first slip-it byrd is already in the works. The Byrd Wings prototype, that was unveiled at the A'dam Meet was a notch-joint action folder, no clip though.
