If any of you Canadian spydie fans didn't get to the CKG show you guys will kick yourself now thats for sure  .

Guntings : $100
Lum Tanto : $100
Ronin: $50 bucks
Ti ATR: $150
Spyker $120
Jester $25
kumo $70
Dodo $100
I FORGOT TO MENTION ALL NIB :p

I'm horrible at taking pictures, but will take some of the loot I snagged at the show. Possibly the best weekend of my life thats for sure and a Spydie Fanatics dream. Canadians are in a class of their own thats for sure :D

Good thing I didn't tell you about the PE titanium tanto folder I scored a day ago as well for a wicked price in a shop near my house. I missed it the first time, but the second time snagged that thing so fast that the shop keeper couldn't believe it :D

aj

P.S It takes me a good 5-10 minutes to buy a $3 shirt, but it takes me seconds to spend hundreds upon hundreds on Spydies. :p

Knife buying is a disease. Yesterday I bought another Rukus in eBay, even though I have one. Afterwards I couldn't work out why I'd done it. I mean, it's a great knife (love that axis lock and long blade) but it'll just get chucked in a toolbox full of other unused new knives. What a dumbass I am!
My Spyderco knives: C95 Manix (x2), Dragonfly, Endura, Rescue, S1 Salt (x2) (EDC), Flat Byrd, Tenacious
Other: BM Rukus (x2)(EDC), BM Skirmish, BM Mini-Griptilian, Fallkniven S1, CS Spike, Gerber Applegate-Fairbairn Covert, Gerber LMF II Infantry Knife, CS Finn Bear, Ontario RAT-7 (x2), many Ontario machetes

I currently have 13 dodos and if your a dumb *** then what does that make me :p

The more I learn about knives the more I love to buy or atleast admire knives from custom makers. It's just I love the whole aspect of a man putting his soul into making a knife which I now own and it is a bit different than any other model he will make again. I just recently bought a knife, because I truly loved the maker and what he stood for. I will only buy a blade if I respect the maker and up until point Spyderco is the only production company that satisfies me.

So all in all people do say buying knives is a disease, but if you bring it down to the core of what you really want your knives to represent you will find many makers and many production companies are lacking in this respect.

I have no clue what I have written and I think I fully went off topic, but hey it's 6:30 and i have been awake for about 21 hours now so cut me a break :p

take care
aj

P.S Rukus is an awesome knife btw

I saw the pics of the meet on BF and saw those on TNK's table, and I wished I was there. Now you have to go show me the prices...  :( :( :(
