spyderco citadel auto

I'm not the biggest advocate of autos gang, but check this out -

http://888knivesrus.zoovy.com/product/S ... n=16700774

I particularly like where 888 knives are us'll put partial serrations on
the blade. Now it's between this and a microtech troodon.

NICE!

Now that you have the Citadel, what are your thoughts on it? I've been kicking around ordering one and can't make up my mind.

My thoughts on the Citadel so far is this..
Its a very large knife, I'd compare it to a mili in size only with a wider blade.
The auto opening is very powerful, much like the CRKT Hissatsu Folder assisted..
I've heard some say it's sluggish, I don't agree with that at all. It opens fast for such a bulky, stout knife..
Its pretty comfortable to carry..
Over all I like it, its for sure Spydie quality, IMO it puts the Benchmade Reflex to shame, but thats just my worthless opinion...

I bet that ones pretty heavy compared to most spyder knives.
A realitycheck is a time in your life where you do a check of your heart. A time you check where your relationship with God is and where it’s going. Then you make a decision as to where your going from here.

I noticed that the Citadel and the Embassy were at the 2008 A'dam Meet, but not the Samaritan. I haven't heard anything about this one in a while, all the news has been about the other Autos. Did the Samaritan get axed? Or is it still lined up for production?

Please be aware, if 888Knives does this, it will void the warranty from us.

Blackhair,
The Samaritan is still moving forward. We currently have one prototype and Sal left it here with me. I had it last week at a Government Show and will likely have it at most of my Government venues.

On a related note: Will the Citadel be produced either with a combo edge or Spyderedge?
