also a smaller Laguiole folder w/ a 3" blade or less would be awesome too
Well, with the kitchen knives, it's only a short step to another food prep knife!

Yes, they've sort of done one before, but I wouldn't mind seeing what happens. Unsure on whether they can use the name though, is "Laguiole" in the same basket that "Champagne" is?

I'm definitely in favor of the Navaja. I am living in Spain for a while now and purchased a Navaja at a great store here in Sevilla called Cucherilla Sevilla. Great shop owner, extremely friendly despite my Spanish.

The Navaja has the advantage of a unique lock that knife knuts might appreciate. That same lock functions as a pocket.. shelf? So it does sort of ruin the clip-it feasibility if it ends up being used in that manner.

+1 on both counts.
I would love to have both of these knives. Even more it would be great to have Navaja with 3.5"-4" blade and mini Navaja with 2.5". Laguiole without corkscrew preferably. Wood, bone, horn for handle sound amazing.
I want these :spyder:

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

heh yeah Roman, I prefer corkscrew-less and with a backlock like (i think) the Ramco one had.... only "caly3-sized" & with a plainedge :)
