I typically carry two. One of which is a utility blade and another that stays unused, unseen and unvolunteered. My coat does have a byrd assigned to it though so if I have it that's 3. Joe

For me the magic number is 3. Something with teeth, something plain edge, or at least combo, and a spare. right now, pacific salt SE, combo delica (or PE para), and tasman salt or harpy. It works out pretty well with my wardrobe. I usually wear cargo pants/shorts. Knives in three pockets, gun in the other.

I carry two at least. My older Delica with the frn clip is always with me clipped in my front pocket and always sharp and ready to use. But I like to carry another knife in case I need to do some rough cutting on cardboard boxes. The Buck Quest is the one I carry for that now but sometimes I switch to another knife, maybe a penknife such as a "peanut" or "barlow". But I am always reaching for the Delica which is my first choice for about every job be it in the kitchen or outdoors. I like the Delica because it is light in weight and very easy and quick to open and close. I've never had any problem with the Delica and it is my first choice. It is nice to have a couple of backup knives just in case I really don't want to get my Delica dulled or dirty. :spyder:
