What's wrong with Foliage green?

I picked up the D2 Military and the FFG Endura in Foliage Green G10.
I like the color, to me it seems more NKP friendly and I think it looks kinda' classy.

In another thread discussing the new G10 Police, there have been some pretty vehement negative reaction to the foliage green...why?

I'm pretty sure that Sal and Company do a little bit of market research before coming out with these changes and upgrades. So why the negative reaction NOW to the color?

Bring more of it on, I'll be getting that Delica, and look forward to the Rookie...heck, throw Foliage Green on that Police and I'll get one.

Just my $.02 I could be wrong, green could be the worst color ever.

As much as there's a very vocal cry for more color, when it comes down to it, black is just the more popular color for knives.

I'm in this boat as well. I'd prefer my knife collection not look like a rack of cheap suits.

Foliage Green

I really like the foliage green. I would like to see some coyote brown G-10 used. The black and tan G-10 STR used on my custom Lava is a good one as well. Plain black is good as the "basic" and I would like to see models continue to use it, but I would like some diversity too.

I pretty much like any color other than black, over regular black G10. I love the foliage green for its camo-feature. It seems to blend in with almost any background you lay it on. But foliage green is being used on quite a few models now, how about some coyote brown?

I'm a big fan of the foliage green too, mostly because it's different. I think black is more popular to those that don't buy a lot of knives. I think the variants are popular with people that already have a lot of black. I'd like to see some more colors too. I like the brown idea. I also like the idea of a dark Navy........I think Tony mentioned that color once.

That is an awesome color. The question is, which new model needs it?

I like the Foliage Green - a nice little change from black, a friendly color, still not too bright and calling out attention ( though I like all the colors, bright or not ) for when that's appropriate, and it's a nice nature or camo color.

- best wishes, Jazz.

I like the green. It has a lot of grey (neutral) in the pigment, so it cuts both ways. Since I typically wear this kind of knife with khakis and work clothes (think Carhartt tan), it wears really well with that type of clothing.

Love Foliage Green in all its variations.... Tan's cool too, but I still prefer FG....the Orange is a little too "bright" for my tastes....i prefer darker shades of color for more "incognito" carry.....but I'm glad for the "change of FRN flavor"...
that Navy Blue color or even the Blue?grey color of the first run Waved Endura looks good to me....as does the dk.burgundy of the zdp CalypsoJr.....
I still haven't bought any pink ones yet  :)
