What watches do you wear?
I only have one watch and I have been wearing it every day since I started work 16 years ago. It is very special to me.
It is a cheap'ish Casio water resistant watch (no fancy name), and it once saved my life.
About 3 years after I started work we were surveying a building site, we were working as quickly as possible, up one side of the scafold, survey the top course of blockwork, down the other side of the scafold and onto the next building.
I was 3 stories up when I put a foot wrong. I turned quickly and too late realised I was stepping out into thin air. I was already falling when I threw my arm out behind me. On a fluke chance my steel watchstrap caught in the open top of a vertical scafold tube, turning me just enough so that I was able to grab the tube with my other hand.
My wrist was lightly laserated (but hurt like the devil), the watchstrap was buckled somewhat, I straightened it out with a hammer and wore it like that until the strap finally gave out completly two years ago.
The rest of the watch is fine and still keeps good time.

I have a Rolex Oyster SS Diver that I received in 1971 for $179. I had it cleaned a few years ago and the dealer couldn't believe the price... he made a copy of the sales slip to post in his office. However, it drives me nuts because it has no date. I have and usually wear Timex watches with the light up dial (they're the best). But, my newest and cheapest and lightest watch is a Snap-It ($9.95 @ EMS). It's a digital watch cylinder on a snapped together small diameter climbing rope. It's more comfortable than my Rolex, has the date and I can replace it more than 300 times and still save money.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Samo, we might agree on Spydies but for watches I prefer Tag Heuer in that price range. Fozzy, I like the Kirium as well but prefer the automatic chronometer. People have also mentioned a couple of brands that I've never heard of....Gotta check them all out Thanks everyone.

Daily wear is an Omega Seamaster.
Out in the field I wear a Swiss Army watch with a web strap which I bought from the Swiss PX.
In the gym its a Timex Ironman that just won't die - seriously, this thing is ancient. It has been used as a dive watch when I was diving three times a day for a year, it has been up mountains and volcanoes and has almost been destroyed in a mine blast - sadly, the old, olive green, Sony "Sports" walkman in the same bag as the watch did not survive as well...
