any C122 tenacious owners out there?

I'm thinking of getting one from SFO ( :spyder: edge ) I'm just
curious if the quality is the same as on the Japan made bugs.

http://spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=294

I never have a problem with the blade steel ( in this case 8CR13MOV )
as I don't consider it a prerequisite as long as it's sharp  . I do like
the fact that it has G-10 handles though.

what say the augurers?

I got in 3. I sold two to coworkers and I am keeping the third. I feel that the handles are more "rounded" and "finished" than the Byrds. It looks and feels like a Spyderco to me. Mine will shave hair. I too don't have a big problem with the blade steel in this model. I kinda find sharpening knives a stress reliever.

AET,

Glad I could help. But just so you are aware, that pic gives the illusion that the Tenacious is larger than the Mini Manix, when in actuality it is pretty equal in overall length.

I have a PE one (where did you get that SE 1??? it looks sweeeeeet)

and it is very impressive, especially for the price.

Only spyderco could take what some people would consider inferior steel, and make it feel so solid in a knife.

Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
