Official Spyderco MBC Seminar in Ohio

To all forumites:

In response to numerous requests, Spyderco has decided to formally endorse off-site MBC courses. These courses will by taught by MBC Head Instructor Michael Janich and will present the same four-level MBC curriculum featured at Spyderco's Golden, Colorado-based seminars. All participants will receive certificates of completion and will be eligible to participate in advanced-level MBC training courses.

The first off-site MBC seminar will be conducted on 16 and 17 February 2002 at Grove City Karate, 4068 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123, approximately 10 miles from Columbus, Ohio. This two-day program will cover Levels 1 and 2 of the official Spyderco MBC curriculum. Tuition is $275.00 and includes two 8-hour blocks of hands-on instruction, a Spyderco MBC training knife (a $70.00 value), a set of wrist guards, and lunch during both days of training.

Will you be able to take level two alone if you've had level one prior?

We had planned on this being a package deal for Levels 1 and 2, but if you've already taken Level 1 in Colorado, we can try to work something out. Please e-mail me directly with your full name and contact info and I'll see what I can do.
