What's your carry preference? (RH/LH, Tip up/down, front/back pocket)
Like the title says, what's your carry preference? Do you like to carry your knives in your front pocket? Back pocket? Right side? Left side? Tip up? Tip down?
And most importantly, why do you prefer to carry them this way?
I usually carry mine in my front left pocket or my right back pocket. Although when I carry knives in my back pocket I can hear them slide on the car seat (no holes yet though!).
I guess if I had to pick my favorite, it'd be front left pocket. I guess it's what I got accustomed to.
What about you? Do you ever switch? What do you change? (pocket, tip position, LH/RH)
And most importantly, why do you prefer to carry them this way?

Tip down I usually grasp the knife by the Spyderhole to draw it, then Spyderdrop it open. To me, tip up requires me to shift my grip on the handle before I can thumb the blade open. But if that is the only option on the knife, that's what I do.
My carry preference is similar to Dr. Snubnose: all of the above and more

Yes, and then there's the purse knife, keychain knife, wallet knife...not all at once usually, but two out of these three usually ain't bad...why? always wanting to try different carry options; I like to experiment. :D

Large folder is carried loose in my left back pocket, it's easy to reach and nothing else ever gets put in that pocket so the knife doesn't get all dinged up. And, after fifty odd years, it's what I use to. Small folder in my watch pocket, not as easy to get to, but again, it's the only thing I ever carry there, so the knife does not get all banged up.
Then, like Agent Starling, there a keychain knife with my keys and a wallet knife in my shoulder bag.

When I'm not at work I carry my main EDC RFP, big knives preferably Tip Down and smaller ones Tip Up.
At my work I carry my beater Trance/CE "the Deacon way" only then right side :D , since all of my other pockets are full with other tools.

I am partial to right hand front pocket with the tip up.
My first Spydie was a FRN integral clipped Delica, carried it so long that RH FP TU feels the most natural.
In the summer when I am wearing cargo shorts, I like to carry in the cargo pocket that is on the front pocket. I am more flexible TU/TD.

if I had my pick, right front pocket, tip down.
Sadly, it seems like every knife I've picked up in the last few months is tip-up :\
Some designs, I can understand why there's no option of ir, others, I'd love to see updated so there is that option. I am getting more used to tip-up carry, but i still don't like it as much. I just get thrown off if I carry a knife that's a tip down carry now....
