Welcome back Samo.
It's been quiet without you

Glad to hear your out of hospital for Christmas, and hope the leg doesn't hurt/itch too much.

Samo,

Glad to hear you're back!
I know a real good plastic surgeon that could give you a Tricep-Bicep implant to "balance" you out! Or you could go Lipo-suction!
BTW... Why does Chinook have half naked pictures of you?
As someone who rides motorcycles, (off-road) I was wondering what exactly happened in your crash? Did someone turn left in front of you? How bad was the bike? Etc. If it brings back a bad memory don't elaborate on it, I was just curious! Thanks

Samo,

Glad you're back!

I'm sure that it hurt like the dickens, but do you want to live forever?

One way or the other, you pay for your tools!

Dudes, you guys are really a grea LOT!

Had an implant on my left tib to stabilise the bone. Right now, I'm nursing the leg as I slowly learn to rehab my joints... Oh yeah, my Endura was loyally beside me at the hospital bed. What a great knife!

Dear Hoosierdaddy,
Here are the details -- I was on my way home after an assignment. Got knocked down by a car who made a quick U-turn (my right of way), the impact threw me some 10 metres into the opposite direction of the traffic. Thank GOD there were no incoming vehicle. Tried to recover but couldn't move due to compound fracture of both my tib and fib. Underwent three surgeries to get the bones stabilised. I was discharged from the hospital on Christmas eve.. Ain't that sweet! Well, that's all I can recall so far..

Samo,

Thanks for the details! I've had a few crashes myself, (off-road though) broke my back, chipped a bone in my elbow, broke my knee cap in half, (that one was on a Jet Ski) got a concussion in a head on with a dirt bike (I was on a Quad-4 wheeler) I never had a compound fracture, must be severe pain though!
You are very lucky no oncoming cars! It just wasn't your time! Glad you made it home in time for Christmas! Hospital food really Bites!
Merry Christmas, hope you heal quickly!!!
