this is really an expensive place to visit....

So far in the last 8 days, ebay and this forum (and another one that has some knife people on it too) has led to getting five additional Spydercos. I got my Dodo already ( :D ), and I'm waiting on a Harpy, a Snap-It, a Delica, and a Native.

Plus, I'm still waiting on a Navigator to come too...

I've gotten 13 Spydercos this year. This really is a dangerous place.

At some point you're gonna have to choose to between the wife and the knives.

I'm sure you'll miss her.

I feel bad for buying so many. I have so many that most of them just go to waste sitting in my collection. Not what a Spyderco knife was meant for!

It is not that bad. Can be worse. :D

I know it can be worse. Because I'm headed in that direction, and I know myself. I have the feeling I'll own 20 spydercos by the end of this year, and probably 25 by the time I've had my Cara Cara and Endura4 for a full year.

It's an addiction...

I got my fix for today - my snap-it came. Needs some time on a sharpmaker, but overall I'm happy. It still locks up well, even though it looks like it's seen probably at least 10 years of use. That's what always impresses me about Spydercos - even after years of heavy use, you have a knife that's still just as solid as it was when it was new, and you can still count on it for many more years to come.

The same here. Just got Com. Worker about 10 minutes ago.
18 so far this year, most likely will be two more Kopas, and if I see Black Lum Tanto for a decent price, I will not be able to resist.
Good luck.

Eventually you will have a knife for every conceivable job... which is good, because you will have to get several more in order to afford the knives.

Dang...I usually only own one folder that I use the bejeesus out of until it's time for a new one. I carry a backup folder for a few days until the replacement EDC arrives.
I tried my hand at collecting a couple years back & just sold all my safe queens last week - I didn't particularly need the $$$ but just felt they were not doing what they were intended to do, and that I was amassing superfluous possessions.
The longest time I've ever used a folder on an almost daily basis is an old custom CQC6 & after I retired it, my EDC was an FRN Native. The Native is now my drawer backup, my new EDC is an SnG.
