Lost - Delica - Felt my heart fall into my stomach =(
Lost - Delica - Felt my heart fall into my stomach =(
I lost my delica lightweight yesterday =(
Very sad day for me, as I have carried it for a long while now. It was like an extension on my own body.
I think the reason I lost it was the clip wasnt really holding very well anymore.
Since I plan on buying a new Delica is there a way to keep the clip nice and tight so it doesn't fall, or easily slip off as mine did for awhle now?
I now have to buy another Delica and I have two choices. The new Blue or the standard black grip knife...
I was also looking at the remote release knife, but I dont think the remote release knife would look great hanging from dress slacks at work..... The clip is somewhat less obtrusive whene you are dressed up.
I may get one though for days off and such.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Really bad news there u4ea
I'd be lost without my Delica.
If you can hold of just a little longer, Spyderco say they are switching the new Delicas over to VG-10 steel. If I had to pick a nit with my SS Delica (not that I would mind you ), I'd say the steel needed upgrading.
Looks like the Delica might be the first knife where I own a double.

u4ea...
I know your pain, having lost my first knife, the delica frn in spyderedge. It was an older one, with the frn clip. I liked the shape of the handle better than the newer versions - so, since I wasn't going to be getting an exact replica, I decided to get a different knife altogether - a calypso jr in plainedge.
I'm very happy with it - but occasionally miss my old friend.
