Any pics of the Byrd Rescues?

What edge types do they come in & what handle material ?

FRN handles and fully serated.I think both the meadowlark and CaraCara are being made into rescue models.

There were pics somewhere that showed them in PE, but those were only prototypes.

I just checked UPS.com and my Byrd Rescues are arriving tomorrow! I like that combo edge blade, so I ordered two each of the Meadowlarks and Cara Caras from New Graham. :D I'll post some pics when they get here.

It is chisel ground. The blade sets rather high in the handle too when closed, with just the very edge in the handle at the tip. I may try to adjust the kick just a little to drop it lower. It really isn't a big deal for what I intend to use this knife for, but it I was going to be using it a lot for heavy cutting it would worry me that the edge might become exposed after repeated sharpening.





Overall I am very happy with them. I think that they are going to get carried a lot. I lost my Rescom a while back (the first knife that I ever lost while carrying IWB) and I think that the Meadowlark is going to be my EDC replacement for it.
