That was engraved by Fred Carter of Wichita Falls, TX. There are photos of some other :spyder: he has engraved if you search through the Forum. Jurphaas has a Kopa and a couple of Crickets engraved by Fred that were inspirational for my wife and I in deciding on this as an anniversary present.

Fred also does some amazing custom knives, something I had not really been aware of beforehand. You might enjoy looking at the book by David Darom: "Art and Design in Modern Custom Folding Knives". That was an eye-opening experience for me. I picked up David's other books on custom knives afterward.

Best regards, and Happy Labor Day,
Ron

I have a tiger coral and have carried and used it every day for over a year. Lovely looks, ergos and build quality. Why wouldn't you use it? Sure, it doesn't look as good now and I have broken the clip twice, but I bought it to use and it's just the right size for me.
