Scorpius?
Scorpius?
I'm just wondering why the Scorpius model isn't talked about. It looks quite interesting to me but I've never got to handle one. Does anyone have a review/pics of it? Does anyone like it, even?

Scorpius?
ask and ye shall receive.... :)
I've used mine around the yard for overgrown weeds, sharpened it a few times even....... I feel my hands are a little too small for handle for "optimum fit"..... It also has that spine swedge and toothy spyderedge that might be "alarming" to some .... and yeah, it can get a little slickery with sweaty palms... it seems to be a love it or hate it kinda design..
Now for some crappy pix for your viewing pleasure..... :p

Thank you, kind sirs. Very nice pictures... MUCH appreciated. Well, upon further examination I see that the ONE thing that beauty needs is more of a curve/bulge to the back to fit the palm cup better like all other Spydies. That just makes more sense to me. Still, I think ( especially after seeing your pictures ) that it's a really nice-looking knife. Also, I don't like slippery handles. Thanks also for your opinions.

I really like the look and concept of this knife but have held off on purchasing for quite a while due to the lack of left-hand mounting holes for the pocket clip. Does anyone know if this model has been updated with the extra holes? Or, there are tap kits to drill and tap your own pocket clip holes, does anyone know if these are worthwhile?

I like my Scorpii quite a bit. THey're wonderful utility folders that excel at slicing and fine point work. Sort of like the original Worker. Some reviews of the Scorpius must be in the archives here, a search should turn those up. Otherwise, my review is here.

I wonder the same thing, but I also wonder why in the heck Eric would use a CF Harpy style clip on the **** thing?spoonrobot wrote:I really like the look and concept of this knife but have held off on purchasing for quite a while due to the lack of left-hand mounting holes for the pocket clip. A very wise man once told me "Eat to live; don't live to eat." ...To my knowledge that's the only stupid thing he's ever said.

It originally had the dolphin look lanyard hole, the newer ones have the hole nearer the punyo tip. :spyder:dete wrote:anybody notice that the lanyard hole is on 2 diff. places?
