I'll give my unpopular opinion. I think it is an unimspiring handle design with a basic blade. Based on what I know of the history on how it came about, it almost seems like Terzoula purposely put little thought into it and basically dared Sal to make and sell it.

Other than its historical significance, I see no appeal to it.

It has a rounded tip, aluminum handle, and a liner lock which by most afi opinions is rather sub-standard in today's world.

I also think Sal's original handle design, which he has been tweeking from C01 all the way to the Stretch II, is far superior.

Ahhh that felt good to get off my chest.

Now just remember this is my opinion, I am just a distant outsider looking in.

Well, I've the Bob Terzuola and the Bob Terzuola Jr, both in G-10. First time I saw the Bob Terzuola Jr. Alu on Ted's side, I've fallen in love for :spyder: 's.

I really like the blade shape and the contour. But - a great but - none are users, therefore I've no experiences. Other concepts of Spyderco make more sense for me.

I started my Spyderco addiction with this model a long time ago, and still love it! I have a full-size aluminum user (so beat up from fishing trips it's getting major surgery at Spyderco right now) and many keepers in both aluminum and G10.

This knife is as close to perfection as you can get! Hand-feel is super in both models and the blade is beautiful... simple and elegant. The liner-lock is kind of skinny but locks up well and has never failed me. Also, this is one knife I've take apart many times for cleaning, an easy chore.

I guess you can tell I'm a fan. I don't think Spyderco can make a more functional, simple and beautiful model. But (Zen) beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!

I'm with zen in the unpopular category. The T's are the most uninspired Spyderco model I've ever handled. I haven't read the Spyderco Story, but will have to pick that up someday. I bought one of the little T's at a knife show just because I heard all the ooohs and aaahs on these forums. I put it on a shelf where I could see it every day and then just still couldn't get over how simple and unenlightened it was. I kept thinking if my knife shelf was a parking lot, the Terzuola would be somewhere between a Toyota Tercel and a Ford Escort. To each his own I suppose. For instance I really like the Herbst!

Bob T was the inspiration for Spyderco to do custom collaborations.

He's currently working on a non-locker design for us.

I'm glad some of you don't like this model. It means fewer bids on ebay!

Dave, you bring up a powerful point! I especially hope nobody is that interested the next time a G-10 PE 15 or 19 comes up. ;) :D

Hi Cockroach,

At this time I haven't a clue. He said it would be under 3" in blade length.

Well, come to think of it, I've never seen a PE in G-10 but I assumed they were made. :o I thought I saw in some of the old catalogs that they came in PS and PE.

Edit - I just looked through all the old catalogs and the G-10 models were only advertised as being available in 50/50 edge. You were right Peter! I guess I won't be finding the PE! :( :(

I really like the design for it's simplicity and straight forwardness.

I'd really love to have a G10 serrated one ;)
