I was fooling around the other day and I disasembled and cleaned a few knives, including my cold steel 6'' Ti-Lite, wich I havent carried since I joined this forum.
Well it HAD some verticle blade play, and it's too heavy, doesent cut well ect... so I figured while it was apart, I might aswell dich a lier, having a 7''x1''x1/16'' brick of steel doing nothing but add weight, diddn't sit well with me. so I put everything back together minus the liner, then put a liners worth of teflon washer between the handle scale and the screw head ( virtualy invisible, unless you're looking for it ) after I put it back together, it had no blade play.
Don't know how I did it but I solved a problem, and shaved what feels like half the weight of the darn thing! looks cool to, you can see the edge, and, half the backspacer. So a trip to my dremmel will come soon and further personalize my renewed tool.

If anybody else has one they might want to go ahead and void their warantee and try it. ;)
