You're gonna absolutely love that Nav II. One of the most comfortable little knives Spyderco ever designed. Sal put a lot of thought into the ergonomics of that thing.

yeah I was using it today at work(mechanic for old land cruisers) and it fits my hand great, but the harpy is better for cutting zip ties and hoses. My nav II is in my pocket now and im heading out to the barNativeAmerican wrote:You're gonna absolutely love that Nav II. One of the most comfortable little knives Spyderco ever designed. I cut myself on the way to work on the Yo today. I was driving with with the windows down and I had a check in my cup holder that was about to blow away, so I grabbed it and stuck it pocket. You guessed it , it was the pocket my Yo was clipped on and it must have opened a bit cause I felt a little slice then looked at my hand for a few seconds before the blood started coming out. Im thinking I dont like the tip up carry to much anymore, it was wast a bad cut, but still a nice long flap of skin.

This is what I worry about with compression locks. The dentent is just too weak for me. Some linerlocks are like this too. The ones I can trust tip up are the backlocks, axis locks, and Chris Reeve's framelock on the sebenza (he makes his knives with strong detents)fj401978 wrote:I cut myself on the way to work on the Yo today. :spyder: Who cares how loose is the detent? if carrried properly with the spine against the pocket seam there's no issue. Self protection blades open easily for a very good reason. :spyder:
