Hello SpydiePeople!
I am back from Toronto, wonderful city! I did leave my knives behind when I visited the CN Tower. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
My brother-in-law considered me a freak for carrying so many knives but, oh well, we SpyderFolk can be misunderstood so easily. <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Of course, my knives always came in handy when opening stuff and cutting aspirin pills in half. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Glad to be back, I will catch on in a couple of days.

Nope, not even a chance to go to the knife store. The day that I had planned to go, we went to the museum (Royal Ontario Museum, very nice) instead and, once I am set free in a museum, I run wild and spend hours entertained. LOL! <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Yeah, LOL! I actually get along very well with my in-laws (mother, father, two brothers, and a sister-in-law in total, all siblings married). It's a large family, but I am the weirdest of them all. <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Actually, my sister-in-law's husband also likes weapons (he has several firearms and likes knives), so we get along very well and he is an extremely nice guy. Both my husband and I consider him one of our favorite humans in the world. Must run in weapon-owners' genes, we are all so cool. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Well my inlaws surely weren't very approve of my romance with knives.
I remember once I gave my wife's brother a (only!) SAK for his birthday because he travels a lot. nothing mean-looking one-hander or automatic, not even a spydie. only a SAK.
But that move caused an uproar by my father-in-law, because, for some strange reasons, there is a saying in Chinese that giving somebody a knife means you would cut off relations with them.
Its called, directly translated, "one cut(knife), two pieces".
So I never dared to give them anything with edge again...of course, except my wife. And recently she actually started to ask me make additional orders for her when I was ordering over the internet...Must not let her parents knwo otherwise I would be the devil...

hoho, spin is right. Chinese does have such saying. I still remember when my girlfriend (now she's my wife) gave me a knife as a gift, I was pretty scared <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Well, it's strange that although she sent knife as gift, she always complain for my hobby of collecting knives after got married...
