Most Hand Lacerations Occur on Sunday Morning

#1

Post by Bolster »

I kid you not...most accidental cuts to the hand occur on Sunday morning. My physician told me this when I was getting my stitches removed (see previous thread, "None of you would be this foolish"). He had recently read a medical journal article on this topic. Wanna guess *why*? I made multiple guesses but couldn't come up with the answer. Can you?

I'll be back to post the answer in a day or two. I'll be awarding a hundred "Bolster Points" to whomever guesses closest to the answer, or whomever is first to guess correctly. ("Bolster Points," I should inform you, are completely worthless, but also extremely rare, since I've never handed any out before. And I know how much you collectors like rare stuff.)

I should have added, "lacerations due to using a knife." Yeah, we may cut our coupons with knives but most people use scissors. You'll have to think like a sheeple to guess the answer. Most people cutting themselves aren't knife knuts.

Locking themselves out of their house/vehicle after a wild Saturday night and punching out a window to gain access.

Its from cutting bagels in half while holding the bagel in hand.

OutofGum beat me to the bagels. :)

How about cutting themselves doing yardwork?
That's sort of the bane of my Sunday mornings.

ROTFL! These are some of the funniest answers imagineable! I'll post what my physician told me tomorrow, but you've got him beat for entertainment purposes. I had no idea this list had all these stand-up comedians on it! Seriously out-of-breath laugh-till-it-hurts funny! Who needs TV?!? What a hoot!
