Pink Cricket - in dire need of one...

#1

Post by Kahz »

SpydiePeople,

Ok, here's the deal. An Australian dude in this forum (Hi, Clay! *waving*) posted a very nice photo with a bunch of Crickets. One of them was pink and I NEED ONE!

Does anyone here know where I can purchase one right now? I did a Google search and I came up with a store I had never seen before that has not even updated its Cricket page since last year. Not a good sign.

Please help me overcome this great problem a.s.a.p.

Already tried it, not one single pink one...

I am starting to shake, I am weak, I am lacking pink calcium...

RYAN! You in here somewhere? Have you still got some pink Crickets?

No, not a Delica, just a jumpin' Cricket.

John doesn't have any pink crickets. Inless he has run across a few. I asked him a couple of months ago. But it's worth a call. Larry at blade art might have one left. I asked for some with an order I placed earlier this week. Told them if he had 'em to ship 'em.

no sign of them, you go that way and I will go the other. Try putting a wanted to buy ad over in bladeforums.

You don't want a pink one. Pink's a girly colour.

What ? ... Oh .. right, yeah I forgot. Hmm, yeah .. pink's a good colour

Good luck in your search.

Yog,

*evil look* Whatchasay????

I don't necessarily like pink, I admit I love dark colours, especially black and green... but that pink Cricket is just too cool to let pass. I have seen the pink Delica, but that one just does not do it for me. Must be the Cricket's shape and the wild pink.

G'day Kahz (*waving back* ),

Sorry I can't help either. I've done a few searches and come up with a blank. As others have suggested, your best bet is probably to post in the "Wanted" forums at Bladeforums and Knifeforums, and keep an eye out on Ebay. BTW also be on the lookout for the aluminium and carbon fibre versions, both very desirable .

In the meantime keep focussing on the 'hole' picture .

Clay,

Yes, I have already posted on the "wanted" section of Blade Forums. I will wait and see what happens. I did look for CF or AL versions of the Cricket, especially the CF, but both are also hard to find. Oh, well... the search continues. I will concentrate on the rest as well.

I went to an "Outback Steakhouse" last night. Good thing you don't have those there, I did not care much for the quality of the meat. Then again, I am from Cattle culture, so I am hard to please.

Hi Kahz,

I hope you were successful in finding El Grillo.

I have done a few searches online for you but I have not found one either. I'll try calling a few places tomorrow...
