The Perfect "Fit"

#1

Post by ducktaper »

I have a question to throw out...its a topic that I couldn't forum-search with any accurracy, so I don't know if it's been throw out before, but I'm just very curious... If you were to totally disregard your favorite Blade style, use or steel, which Spyderco model of ALL that you have ever personally handled just seemed to instantly fit your hand perfectly-as if it was a custom knife made just for you?

funny you should mention that, ducktaper. This afternoon I was thinking about how although I really like my new Yojimbo, it is a little big for my hands. the harpy, however, fits like it was custom made... :D

The only knife int the current line up that fits my big mitt right form the beginning is the full size G10 Military ;)

Furthermore it's the only choiled knife I don't have to use the choil to get a comfortable grip.

The Carbon Fibre/BG42 Millie sprint. It's so good I had to buy an extra to put away. Sal, how about a S90V Millie sprint?

I'd have to say the Dodo. No knife just falls into my hand like that one.

It's a toss up between the Lil Temp & Dodo. Both feel amazing in the hand.
