Dudes,

The best pilgrimage of all for a Spydernut, is to Spyderland.. Here's a look behind the scenes at the SFO which I visited many moons ago...

Samo,

Oh, thanks!! I will have to make that pilgrimage, definitely...

Colorado, right? That's closer to my home town in Mexico than here.

Congrats on your 1000th post as well!

pleeassee tell me that you have pics of all those knives. Or could you not take them because then they would haunt you until you bought them all?

I guess that I am one of the truly lucky people in this world. The SFO is only about a 15-20 min. drive from my house.

Well, I don't have ALL the knives, but the experience is something that I'll hand down to my grandchildren! Hey Bruceter! You are indeed one lucky dude! The SFO is also a great place to get discontinued Spydies! Believe me!

Speaking of Pilgrimages....
Around when is the last snow in the Golden Area?

I would like to make one this spring or summer. In order to save money I will be camping out, and None of that sissy trailertent or motorhome stuff either.
I am experienced in camping in overnight lows of 0 Farenhit or lower, but loathe rain (never tented in snow, and dont want to on this likely-to-be solo trip) below freezing.

Knife Knut on a shoestring budget.

SFO is definately a fun place to go.

I've been there a couple of times and have found the folks there incredibly knowledgable and enthusiastic.

In addition, there are discontinued and unusual knives you won't likely see elsewhere.

One way or the other, you pay for your tools!

After having been there. I wish I could drop by about once a week. Too bad I'm all the way over here in Kansas.
