Hello Jeff, great idea and will be really appreciated.
Will send SASE this Friday the thirteenth. Don't worry, Friday the thirteenths have been the date of many good events. For example, this one will be a day off for me.
Has anyone "finished" their holes? I'd like to take a stab at it.
Oh, if you get any Damascus holes keep me in mind. :) :) :)
Better yet, Spyderco should keep and finish any Damascus holes to use as promotional items. Wow! A Damasteel hole with a factory Spyder logo would be priceless to us nuts. Maybe as a reward for people who buy the entire set of mules?

Got holes!!!
Thank you Jeff and Spyderco.
Got the holes a few days ago. I've been under the weather but still loving the anti-holes.
I have changed my mind for now. The holes are perfection as they are. "Finishing" them would steal their soul.
Finished (shiney) they would just be polished slugs. Rough, they are Spyder holes.
I have an uncle living in a house with 100+ year old timbers. Taken out and planed smooth they would make stunning oak veneer. Left as they are they are one of a kind. Priceless history of a lost oak savanna. Saw it down... plant crops...profit... lose your past. Same with the holes.
If anyone has finished their holes I'd like to see a pic of the result.
Spyder holes. Now my friends know I'm really nuts.

Let me give some advice on these, I would suggest that if you are sending a SASE to Mr. Smith, you send one of the fibre woven kind or possibly send a small "snack size" zip lock bag for the"holes". I only live a couple of hours from Mr. Smith and sent him a standard letter sized SASE but the "holes" were gone before I received the SASE in return, through no fault of Mr. Smith's as I'm sure the sharp edges of the "holes" bit through the standard envelope. Thus, my advice would be choose a stronger envelope than just a standard letter type SASE.
Good luck.
Good luck.

PM me your address and I will get some more on the way.I ran into this problem the first time around, thats why I asked for padded envelopes this time. The machines at the PO is what rips them and even though I have them hand stamped and marked do not machine I guess sometimes they still do.Hillbillenigma wrote:Let me give some advice on these, I would suggest that if you are sending a SASE to Mr. Smith, you send one of the fibre woven kind or possibly send a small "snack size" zip lock bag for the"holes".
