Lack of participation giveaway

#1

Post by Irish Lager »

Since i went back to school i haven't had as much time for the forums. However i think it has been a long enough gap between my last giveaway and since I'm bored... its time.

The prize as always are some fancy fobs/lanyards. And to make it fair lets have anyone who has won one of my giveaways in the past sit this one out.

So to start this off, we will have one winner drawn 2 weeks from today. Now for a contest.

The first person to guess one of the three bands that will be at the concert i am going to in may gets the prize. Good luck to all.
J

WELL SINCE THE QUESTION WAS ANSWERED SO QUICK, WE WILL ADD A SECOND PRIZE TO ADD TO THE FUN.

POST YOUR FAVORITE ARTIST/BAND/ETC. AND WHAT SONG YOU ENJOY THE MOST BY THEM. THIS SECOND PRIZE WILL BE A BIT SMALLER, BUT NONE THE LESS ILL MAKE IT WORTH WHILE. AT THE END OF 2 WEEKS I WILL DRAW THE WINNERS NAME. HAVE FUN

Hmmm, since it was titled "Lack of a Participation" giveaway, I was hoping I wouldn't have to apply any mental applications to apply... :D

guess that one was too easy. but that's right, i just ordered my Rowdy Frynds tour tickets w/ Hank Jr, Skynyrd, and 38 Special.

Since that didn't take any time. Those who still wish to participate i will post a new question at the top of the thread to keep this thread alive.

Harry,
PM me your info and i will get your prize out asap.

Nice, sounds like a great show. I got to see Lynard Skynard in concert a few years ago, they came to my little tiny hometown of Comstock (population: 60). They really put on a good show, taking a back seat to only ZZ Top (also at Comstock, but a different year).

As for my favorite... I will need to think about that for a while :D

Since the first question was already answered. My answer for the second question is Drowning Pool and my favorite song is "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor", the original not the remixed version. Great, fast metal song right before a couple of rounds of sparring or hitting the track on a quad.

Didn't the singer from Drowning Pool die some time back. I've always liked Bodies.....

I'll still go with Pantera "walk". I'm not too old to hit the pit. Joe

PM sent.

I love Skynyrd -- the show sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Hopefully they'll play "Curtis Lowe"!

Thank you again for the contest. :)

Yes the original singer did die from Drowning Pool. I know it was alcohol related, what I have heard was he choke on his vomit after a drinking binge  . Anyway they do have a new singer, he's......not the original, but just as good with their new songs.
