My New Black Micarta Kopa!

#1

Post by ront »

Hi all, my knife buying has slowed down just because of funds, but I noticed last week that Rock (pjrocco) was selling a few of his knives. I knew that he had a black Micarta Kopa, so I asked him about it. He gave me a great deal and the knife arrived today :) . I have wanted this black one for a while now. I do like it!!
Here are a few pics. I sure miss Rock around here!!

That's a beauty Ron.
Congrats and enjoy! :)
I did notice he had a bunch of Kopas on BF for sale. Whatever the reason he has to sell them, I feel for him. :(

Ron,
Congratulations on getting a great knife! Excellent pictures!
I also bought Kopa from Rock as soon as saw hist post on BF. I've got Kopa Cocobolo having micarta second on my list. At the moment I decided that getting two would be too much. Black Micarta is the only one Kopa I do not have yet. I am glad it ended up in good hands!
Enjoy!

what a great knife! i sometimes forget just how appealing the black micarta kopa looks, even though it's not quite as "exotic" as the others, material-wise.

it's pictures like these that really confuse the heck out of my knife-buying priorities!!!

What a beauty! I only have the cocobolo Kopa, but I still marvel at the fit and finish of these beauties.

Thanks guys. I only have two Kopas. The other is the Cocobolo Kopa which I also like very much. The Black Micarta is rather simple in comparison to some of the other Kopas. Maybe that is why it was so appealing to me. They are all nice though!!
