For those paying attention the last new album I listened to was 36grad by German pop artists 2raumwohnung. I also noted in my brief review that the album sounded more acoustic than their previous releases. Well now I know why.

Well it seems I missed one of their albums. I had kommt zusammen, in wirklich, es eird morgen, and now 36grad. I had missed Melancholisch Schön. I have no idea what the title of the album means but upon looking at the track listing I was slightly dissapointed as I recognized about half the album as songs from other albums, just different versions of them. "Sexy Girl (Latin)" though had me intrigued due to the (latin) as there is already and english and german version of the song. Well I download it and start listening to it and guess what. It's a **** Bossa Nova album. I LOVE Bossa Nova. No Electronics, it's all acoustic. No wonder their most recent album is more acoustic than they have been before.

I am so hyped. This is like the best thing ever. About half of the album is Bossa Nova versions of my favorite 2raumwohnung songs and the rest is new Bossa Nova songs by one of my favorite artists. The only thing missing is a version of Kommt Zusammen, my favorite of their songs. Oh well nothing is perfect.

I listened to this one, if anybody remember's Street Survivors-

Whiskey bottles, and brand new cars
Oak tree youre in my way
Theres too much coke and too much smoke
Look whats going on inside you
Ooooh that smell
Cant you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

Angel of darkness is upon you
Stuck a needle in your arm
So take another toke, have a blow for your nose
One more drink fool, will drown you
Ooooh that smell
Cant you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

Now they call you prince charming
Cant speak a word when youre full of ludes
Say youll be all right come tomorrow
But tomorrow might not be here for you
Ooooh that smell
Cant you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

Hey, youre a fool you
Stick them needles in your arm
I know I been there before

One little problem that confronts you
Got a monkey on your back
Just one more fix, lord might do the trick
One **** of a price for you to get your kicks
Ooooh that smell
Cant you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you
Ooooh that smell
Cant you smell that smell
Ooooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

AET
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night, in the dusty recesses of their minds, awake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes to make it reality.

Makes sense. If you're a fan at all of Bossa Nova (like the girl from ipanema) I'd suggest checking that album out. Particularly if you speak German, I have a feeling their lyrics are great from the two english versions of their songs they have done but I have no idea.

I'm not real into "heavy" music personally. I dig noisy but not heavy.

Haven't heard that, but the music to Halo 2 is pretty good...also the music for Auto Assault by Richard Dekard is good as well. It is all instrumental and gets you pumped up (imagine that from video and computer game music?) I know at least half the Auto Assault music is free for download with a simple google.

So I'm not the only one who listens to computer game music!

Personally, I prefer the music to Dawn of War, which is currently on rotation with a few other tracks.
