LLC set

Post by dete »

I just got my Lapu Lapu Corto set.

It comes in a nice tin can ready to be displayed,

an introductory dvd,

the live blade
and the training drone knife.

some improvements made from the original Gunting is that
the LLC has a curved handle & strategically placed
teeth on the handle.

when I ordered it, I thought the training drone would be
more of a bonus item, but actually I feel that it is quite
underrated.

you can order the blue CRMPIT by itself or get the set
that I got, and either is a good deal, I'm glad I got the
live blade & the drone.

if I was limited on money I would have just gotten the
CRMPIT or the LLC USMC version.

although the dvd it came with is only an intro instructional,
it really sheds some light on the LLC and is really quite a nice
bonus.

I'm a very satisfied customer.

Congrats on your new fine knife and enjoy it. How does it feel compared to the Spyderco Gunting?

I got my set a month ago. I also got the USMC LLC. I love the design. I wish the G10 was a little thicker. Does anyone know what kind of steel the blades are made of?

I have no idea how it is compared to the Gunting,
suppose to be a bit lighter,
and the new puzzle lock on the LLC, I don't know
how different that is from the original... lock

sorry no pics Snuffaluff, I'm hoping to get a camera
soon then I hope to post my mini collection.

I have no idea what kind of steel it is.

If you go to Cherusker-Messer's web site and can decipher a little german
the blade steel is listed as AUS-8. Not fancy, but excellent for a working
blade. And yes I ordered 2 USMC's from Bram himself last friday night. And I plan on getting a camera to record a little workout with it(maybe even a meat test). Been wanting areason to get a new camera anyway. Bigk6
Been packing at least two Spyderco knives a day since 1984
