Not sure of the exact weight, but feels very similar to my Salt 1. There are no liners.

According to my scale the Black FRN ZDP Caly Jr weighs 55 grams, or 1.94 ounces. And no liners on any of the Caly Jr's that I know of. ;)

A good comparison is the BRG Delica 4 ZDP with skeletonized liners. It weighs 71 grams or 2 1/2 ounces.

I used this same comparison when I was expecting my Jr....but when I received it, and maybe it's just me, that half ounce less makes the Jr feel as light as paper. I'm really glad they brought back the Jr. for those of us who missed the first go around...all I kept hearing was what a great slicer it was, ergonomic, blah, blah, blah :D Well, they were right, and then some.
I know I may get blasted for this but I'm hoping they do a run in VG-10. As much as the ZDP has superior edge retention, I love the ease of sharpening the VG-10 steel.

These knives are easily some of the lightest I have used. Great knife. I wish they were in regular production.

Well, you missed out on that run but they can still be found in PE and SE on the secondary market. ;)

The Caly Jr. also seems to be the most well balanced Spyder I own. It is very light overall but seems so much lighter in hand than similar weighted models since the balance between blade and handle is so perfect.

I just got it today, the weight is so light. And when cut, the force of cutting against your hand is almost nothing. This is a real slicer. Now I know why people crazy about this knife!

I LOVE my two burgundy ZDP Caly Jrs :spyder:
Over the last year and a half I have always carried my Caly Jr. paired with a larger knife like my Para, Styker etc. It has been my main edc more consistantly than ANY of my other knives. Even if I want to carry two different knives for a change I usually wont leave the house without atleast slipping my Caly Jr into a coat pocket or clipless in a back pocket.
