Hi all, just wanted to share my display cases
I just had a rough day, so I wanted to do something to unwind.
The box on the left is a watch display case from Bed, Bath and Beyond (haha), and the chest on the right is a jewelry box from Bombay Company:

Looks like a Shabaria to meJakemug wrote:Your collection is intense. What's the hour glass shaped model (top deck right of the Lavas)? I've never seen one in all my years of Spyderholism. The Bali drawer almost made me drool. You have pretty much every knife I've ever wanted.

That is the Shabaria, one of the early ethnic designs...one of JD's seemingly bottomless top ten favorites. :D :pJakemug wrote:Your collection is intense. Beats the heck out of my display. :cool:fyunchclick wrote:Thanks! I used to keep them in a large Spyderpac, but I think their presentation is better with these chests. There are still two empty drawers tho...
Only two drawers empty...that will change soon.
Are your Balis all the same model or different ones?

my question is what is the knife in the bombay chest bottom drawer all the way to the left. the karambit is in the middle. great pics
If I'm looking at what you are, the drawer with the karambit in the middle, the left side knife is a Benchmade Skirmish.tonydahose wrote:that is the shabaria

Titanium framelock, 4.3 inch recurve plainedge blade. Very solid knife, of excellent quality (I have one). The only thing I didn't like about it was the point wasn't all that "pointy." But a great cutter, and carries smaller than it should because of how flat it is.
