until a week ago, i had a pontiac fiero...

ended up selling it and getting a 4x4 V8 more suited to the driving i'll have to do in the mountains.

now i've got a big, black jeep grand cherokee, which i've named "HERE COMES LION" after this ridiiiiiiculous, beat-up bus from the 60s that used to drive down the road nearest my village in africa. the bus had big stickers on the front reading HERE COMES LION... and every time it came past, i and everyone in my community would yell "HERE COMES LION!!!" at it. so i got some stickers of my own, and did a little "pimp my ride" -- african style.

so anyway... now i've a HERE COMES LION of my own. :D :D

ideal car would be... anything that drives reliably. if i got to be completely impractical and pick anything, i'd probably go with an old bugatti from the 1920s.

Nice choice for dream car. Classy looks with maniac power. Very nice.

Seems like most people here like the more refined porches, bmw's, aston martins, and the like. I personally like the unrefined. Give me horsepower! Give me torque! I don't care if I need two feet to push in the clutch, I don't care if I can't take off from a stoplight without smoking the tires, I don't care if the idling engine shakes the whole car and makes children cry, in fact, that's why I'd love it :D

Currently I drive WITH public transport. :(

My dream cars:

relatively real one - Skoda Fabia RS, almost a regular Fabia on steroids. Fabia`s are very common here, so its not catching anyones eyebrows.

impossible dream cars: Range Rover SUV and Mercedes CLS

In reality I drive a Ford F350.. I hate it :D
I drove quite a but in my fathers car, a Peugeot 407, it's nice.
In the army I spent 3 years driving a military Hummer H-1 on any possible terrain and at frightning speeds, it was a lot of fun

What would I really want to drive? hands down, a Mclaren F1 ;)

T'ain't fair. I want one.

Very true, there is no replacemtent for displacement :D

But then again, turbos and superchargers are just cramming as much air as a bigger engine would need into a smaller engine, so a turbo almost counts as displacement (even if your "small" engine is a 460 ford :D )

I drive an 87 Jeep Cherokee Chief. The thing is practically a cyborg now, since it's slowly had almost everything replaced at one time or the other. It's got so many problems it's not even funny.

My dream car? One that works ;)

Daily driver: 2007 Chevy Z71 it's going to get a 6" lift this summer.

Dream car:.....a 1969 Chevy Nova with a 502 big block, a Model-A truck either fully restored or rat rodded, a F-250 turbo diesel with a 12" lift, and a International CXT. Obviously I have a thing for over sized ridiculous vehicles, mainly trucks  .
