Just got here to Spyderhouse. The Federal Center closed
down, Jefferson County(our county) shut down their offices.
The weather people are now saying that it might be as bad as
the blizzard of 2003, which shut the city down. Not a whole lot
of snow yet, but it is falling slow and steady, with a stiff wind.
We'll see how this goes...
Thanks, Terry

8:00 am mt time report. It's really starting to pic up. I commute to south Denver for work, which is about a 45 minute drive. It took me an extra 10 to 15 minutes today, not too bad. The snow is REALLY starting to build quickly. The latest update is 1ft by noon. :D

Next update in a couple of hours

It is really starting to come down here at Spyderland.
Haven't heard any measurements, but it is about even with the
curb within a couple hours.
And to think, it is supposed to last through tomorrow sometime.

Who asked for a White Christmas!!!!! :p
Thanks, Terry

When I lived down in Springs I came out one morning and found out my hood , and a quarter panel had been sandblasted in about a day and a half. I was in Denver for the Blizard of 82 or 83, I forget. 18 wheelers were buried in drifts. Still, I've seen almost as bad here in the south. Joe

You lucky guys... Just in time for Christmas. Here, in the Land of Snow, we don't have any. It's too hot.

I love snow. The way every sound is softer, the air seems cleaner , nothing smells... and ice skating, sleighridings, snowmen...... I miss all that...

I feel exactly as you do, much to the annoyance of my sweet wife! I love snow and cold weather. Of course, I have a higher than average body temperature and despise summertime entirely. OTOH, my wife hates cold weather due to her lower body temperature; the poor girl freezes all winter long!

Colorado is sounding better and better all the time... ;)

Just came in from snow shoveling. It's 4" up to 16" drifts. I have a feeling I'll have to shovel a few more times before this is over. Will post a few pics later.

Spyderco is closed for the rest of today and possibly tomorrow - I didn't even make it in today - had to run to the airport (roundtrip is usually 1.5 hours - today took 4.5 hours). :)
