Hey, nice to meet you all...this is fun!

I work as a Biomedical Technologist where I service medical electronic equipment for a small regional hospital in Western Canada.

Daily, I have a plain edge Cricket clipped to the breast pocket of my lab coat for boxes, etc. whilst my "personal" (food grade) EDC is constantly changing. Today it is my pe FRN Delica in VG-10 (w/ "blued steel" clip).

All the very best, Jeff/1911.

UK firefighter. I carry a PE Delica and 50/50 Endura on duty and a small plain Sebenza off duty. (Its hard to say "No, you can't use my knife" when it's an emergency!)

I own a jewelry store in denver where I buy gold, silver, diamonds and watches that I sell to other dealers or the end customer. I also set up at mile high flea market on the weekends. Spyderco knives are everywhere at this fleamarket. I own 42 of these addictive little guys. They are all on display in a showcase in my store. I try to give them all a chance in my pocket but right know its a se ss endura.

Hi Patti. I still owe you a personal visit to the SFO. I just haven't been in the neighborhood for a while. I'm a building and structural steel inspector (towers and bridges). Use my rescue and toad daily.

For over 20 years, I've been the Radiologist (X-ray doc) at our local community hospital. It would be great to retire, but I have to support my Spyderhabit.

The Kiwi is my current EDC and gets daily use, even if its just to open the mail.

I'm an ecologist/field biologist (College Prof). In the office I carry a SS dragonfly PE (until recently an FRN dragonfly SE), sometimes a Lil Temp DP; in the field I carry a small fixed blade (sometimes the Temperance) and either the Lil Temperance or an FRN Calypso jr SE.

Terrific responses and great topic. As my username implies, I'm a director for a sleep disorders center. I carry a Native and Dragonfly as my EDC because I want to. (Besides, I can open up the boxes and cases when supplies arrived for our 2 centers).

The SFO is located just outside Golden, CO if I remember rightly.

Doing medical school, hoping to be a plastic surgeon in future.

I also collect medical equipment with other students and send it every year to a hospital in Tanzania, I work (as a cleaner in a hospital and as a nurse), I am member of a committee engaged with medical research and I am member of the Junior Scientific Masterclass (attending special courses about research).
I probably start my own research in oncology next month and maybe also become part of the subcommittee engaged with the sponsering and PR of an international congress of medical student next year in Groningen, the Netherlands.

Pretty busy,

Shiden-Kaj
