Knives used it TLC's Take home chef?

#1

Post by Jimmy_Dean »

Alright my Spydie friends,
Haven't been here in a little while. I graduated since last time, started a new job, moved out of my old appartement, what a ride! More on this later

The reason I am posting today is because I need the knowledge of this community. My brother and I are avid "Take home Chef" watchers. We're both decent cooks and always seek to improve.

I notived Curtis uses a variety of Henckels knives in the first season(mostly twin cuisine but also Pro S), but in the second one, he seems to alternate between that and a longer and heavier knife that almost looks forged. From certain angles it looks like the steel was folded. He uses this knife with a lot of skill and just for my own knowledge, anyone would know what make it is?

thanks a lot
-Dean

I don't know the answer but I just wanted to let you know that it's nice to see you back and congrats for your diploma. If I remember corectly, you were at Concordia's film study, isn't it? Not the easiest place. Will you push it further like going to INIS?

Anyway, nice to see you around...

Jimmy there is an excellent knife dealer in California who goes by the name of the "KNIFE MERCHANT">> http://www.knifemerchant.com ~~ I have not found a better dealer of culinary knives anywhere. I bet you could cruise their website and probably find the knife you are speaking of.
