Hello all, got back from the desert three months ago and my wife and I are now stationed in Germany. (Illesheim to be exact) It is beautiful here, you guys would love the countryside. Please say a quick prayer for two pilots that lost their lives in a recent training accident. Thank you, all of you for the good times while I was building sand castles and dodging mortars and rockets in Baghdad. (and Kuwait) :D
God Bless,
Ray

Hi Ray,
Sounds like you are enjoying germany. I'm originally from wuerzburg and if you get the chance check it out. It's a beautiful city, surrounded by vineyards, one castle overlooking the city, another one downtown. The wine is good and the beer even better.
Have fun,
Marco

Ray,

Thank God you made it to "safe" ground alive.

So now that you're stationed in Germany you don't have to go back to the sandbox do ya?

When you coming home to the States?

God Bless,
David :)

Glad you made it back safe, added bonus - Germany!

Wife & I would of love getting stationed there, but all we saw was Ft. Campbell. I'd love to go to Oktoberfest, but till we can make it the festival in Helen, Ga. will have to do.

Prayers sent for the pilots & their families.

Great to hear that you made it through!

Don't be complacent though .....that German beer can be very dangerous! ;)
