The things got more rust on it than an '84 Honda Civic.

I hate it when people misrepresent.

That sir is not rust, no siree, that is Patina...it actually adds value to a fine rare blade. ;) :p

I did see that a few days ago.
I just love what he has said. He then takes close-up photographs showing the rust etc. :)

Obviously just a bad job of cropping on the pictures. Am sure he meant to include these, which were probably sitting just a few cm. away from that Milie. ;) :D

Jano,

His opening price is $48 USD, and, on top of that there is an undisclosed reserve price. Unless there's a blind (or blind drunk) Spydie lover out there somewhere, with an itch for a Military, I think his chances of getting a nibble on it are slim to nil. :D

Deac, I would change your quote to "heavily drunk and mentally disabled spyder lover"... ;)

The knife seems to have its best times over, just look how the serrations are sharpened off.

Being this here, I would give 1000 SKK for it at most. (cca 33 USD)

Its too far from being NEW, not even on sight for being "MINT"

What's funny is that even if you look at the serrations they are all worn down.

However It is kinda neat because it's old school. Not mint though. :D

Not much surprise it's got zero bids at the moment, looking at the "good condition" that it's in.

If he told me I could have it for the cost of shipping, I might consider it.

What a beater. He's spent some money on the auction (i.e. higher insertion price, reserve, etc), so I think he really does believe that he's got a fine weapon in his possession. :D

LOL! If I had the money to blow, I'd love to see what the reserve is.

I asked the seller this"

"Is this really "near mint"? If so, your pictures are of the wrong knife. Please, when you relist this, insert the correct pictures so we can see the "near mint" knife. The one pictured is so beaten up, you wo't get much interest on it. BTW, it is not possible to classify something as near mint, if there is the slightest bit of rust on the knife. The knife pictured has so much rust, I mistook it for an '84 Honda. Also, the serations are all but worn down, making the blade near useless. Just some things to consider when you re-list this as "near mint". Thanks."

I'll post any response I get.

I just realised that the seller is from Israel! Maybe its the same knife you were offered for 240USD!!!

What a coincidence!

Naw seriously. I feel sorry for the poor winner (if you can call it a win) trying to get this...thing...sharp again. It is cpm steel after all.
Looks like the liner is kissing the g10 slab too.
