The official WHO WANTS A PINK DELICA thread!
Pink is not my prefered color, but for collection I'm in for one.

Two for me also. Still think that making scales, in a variety of colors, available as "accessories" would be the least risky way for Spyderco to address this.

Would be interested in some for gifts.
Doing aftermarket scales would probably be cheaper for Spyderco, but maybe the safest (in terms of idiot-proofing) way of doing it would be to make it so that different screws are used for the liners and the scales, so that you can remove the scales, but still have the knife working, thus relieving some of the liability issues. Plus, you could have a naked Delica
Unfortunately, this would probably entail retooling the machines, which would mean even more work for Spyderco, probably more than it would be worth.

I think the occasional pink Delica sprint is definitely required if for no other reason than the multitude of wives and daughters that will receive them as gifts. They have also been very collectible over time. Put me down for 2.
I never did manage to snag a pink Cricket though ... Snooze and ya lose ... :D

My only concern about the 500 pc batch would be that 200 go directly to collectors. That leaves 300 "free game" delicas. Some people would buy them for their own collection. Delica fans would buy them to have another color D4. Some people would buy them for female friends, and others would buy it to use it for themselves.
Personally, I would be interested in buying around three-four to gift to family and friends. I think a lot of the posters here would take more then one, as well as the people who do not visit these forums. 500 pc seems a little low, but a full blown 1200 sprint would be too much.

Well Axlis, if you can talk my girlfriend into knives(I've given up already  :o ), I want a Pink Delica/SE as well :DAxlis wrote:Howdy all! :)
I'm totally biased towards PE, but I think some SE should be made too (don't you want a pink Delica, Arend? :p ).
Well, what do you think, who wants a pink Delica 4?
