The ceramic (white) stones on my 204 are not straight -- they're somewhat bowed, in contrast to the brown stones, which are perfectly flat and straight. I'm not sure this is a big issue, but I'm curious whether anyone else has noticed the same? It seems to me that this could result in the edge angle varying somewhat in different parts of the blade. Thanks for any thoughts.
Bent grits? Whoah! This is indeed a new phenomenon! Recommend you to send it back to the service and warranty department...
I also had one of the white and one of the grey stones bent on my 204 when I brought it about 5 months ago but as I live in England didn`t think at the time it was worth the cost to send them back to spyderco so I just used the stones from my old 203 model which are perfect.

Hi Simon.
I too live in England (well Cornwall actually but I wont hold it against you ), the cost isn't too bad to send an item back to Spyderco. I sent the bent fine ceramic and another item for £6. Of course Spyderco pay the return postage.
