I just bought a Swick so I can't get a Dodo. I'm enjoying my Spot though.

They're worth checking out now and again - they have some amazing deals on closeouts - but the way they ship is kind of strange. Basically just some brown paper around the box and that's it - no padding. Knives are pretty tough but if you want a clean box, well, it's going to be squished....

I picked one up as soon as I saw the price drop. They also had a great deal on temps a while back.

Darn it!

I've been wanting to get a Dodo for a long time now, basically ever since i first saw them :)

But... I'm trying to cut back, I just bought a VG-10 SPOT and a bunch of byrds for b-day presents, not to mention that I spent a bunch of money on concerts, car parts and other necessities.

On the other hand, it is really cheap for a Dodo...

Darn it!!

And I just ordered a black to pair up with my blue one. They did a great job with my first order from them.

Now the price of the Spot has dropped below $20. I got one the other day for
$23. They seem to change the prices up and down, sometimes within a few hours...Although I am not in the market for a DODO I will grab one if the price goes down again....I have little willpower when it comes to buying sharp things

I found those prices outrageously expensive so I found this additional 5% coupon to further entice those interested...
http://dealnews.com/coupons/online-stor ... -Post/672/

that means dodo for 47.45 and micarta spot for 18.87 tax free ;)

They mistakenly listed the Spot as frn handled, but it is micarta.

Spot is now under 26 with shipping. If this free shipping code works the grand total is 19.86 :)

Thanks for thread and the direct link to Spyderco products!
