Superman Returns

Just seen it a few hours ago and it was a lot better than I thought it would be. Anybody else watch it tonight? If so, what did you think of it? I liked Batman Begins a lot better but I've always been a bigger fan of The Batman than the boy scout so its probably just my bias. This was prob. the best movie I've seen this year... I liked it better than X-Men 3.

BTW, I seen a preview for Spiderman 3 and it showed the symbiote crawling onto him so thats really got me interested... Its going to be awesome if Venom is in that movie :D To bad it doesn't come out till next year :(

Also saw a preview for Ghost Rider and the graphics in that movie looked outstanding.

I haven't seen Superman Returns yet (probably this weekend, though, as I'm pretty excited about it), but I ...er... saw X-Men 3 and it was like reviews had said it would be. I was less-than-thrilled.

I can't imagine how they are going to deal with the origin of the Venom symbiote. Frankly, in pre-judgment mode, I will say I think it's too ambitious, and of course since they are clearly NOT going to go into the Beyonder storyline that Marvel did in Secret Wars and Secret Wars II, they are going to piss off a lot of comic fans who will want the real story and not some pap they come up with to mass-market it. (Kind of like they did with "how Spiderman sticks to walls," with the spikey things that stick out of his fingers...)

I'll probably go see it before the end of the week. I'm not overthrilled about it but you never know

My thought's, but I probably wait until it comes to DVD to see it.

Yea, it wasn't as good as I thought it would be... X-Men 2 was much better.

It would be a lot to cover in one movie. But it appears that Venom will be in the movie according to IMDB With Topher Grace playing him (the guy from That 70's Show who played Eric Foreman).... he is to short and to weak looking to play Eddie Brock/Venom... I hope he takes some steroids to play that role lol.
