there are many reasons people choose a wheel gun for a sidearm
to me a lock back folder is the revolver onion field gun.
liner locks... well... umm... they just.... nope.
and assisted opening folders... well think of them as the automatic guns....

I've not joined in one of these for ages, I don't have a camera with me at work, but my pockets today contain:

Front Left:
Surefire KL1 with Vital Gear FB1 body
Nokia 5140i

Front Right:
Fisher Bullet Pen
Queen Canoe in D2 with jigged bone scales

Rear Left:
Wallet

Rear Right:
Thin air...

I'm not even going to start with what's in my bag...

Being in the UK and working in education means no firearms or anything aggessive looking ;)

I purchased that little Seecamp LWS25 as a rookie cop back in 1983.
Actually, I learned that the Seecamp is one of Sal's favorites also.
Back in 1994 I wrote a review of the Seecamp 25/32 autos for Guns & Weapons for Law Enforcement magazine, a short while later, while working security for World Cup 94 at Giants Stadium, , I received a package and a letter from Sal saying that he liked the article and he wanted me to have his new tuffram police model.
The knife in the picture is the knife Sal had engraved and sent me.
Strange how you always tend to go back to certain items.

dave
nice story dave.

when my father was still on the job he carried a spyderco endura for years, until he lost it, and then he carried a rescue. I remember when I lived in FL during college and had a few guns, he always asked me to keep an eye out for a seecamp .32 for him. I could never locate one.

That police is a nice knife. does the tuffram offer a better grip than the ss?

Trying to keep this thread alive! :D

I didn't bother to clean out my jacket, which holds a sturdy large SS Pen from Parker, a tiny lighter and a flat 'roll' of ducttape.

The rest is in the pic.

Here's mine. There are times when I'll swap the Crossbill with my Yojimbo. or I'll use another light in place of the X5, but this is the everyday routine. :D

First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.
